ABOUT ALL THIS…
Where do we even begin? Yes, we (Yingying and Jeff) are getting married. Yes, it will be on April 3rd, 2024. And yes, it is definitely going to be in Florence, Italy!
As we begin our journey together, we would be honored if you could bear witness to our special day as we profess our love and commitment to each other. We will do our best to make it quick, entertaining, memorable, and fun for everyone.
This website will be a guide leading up to our special day. So please be patient as we continually build and update everyone with new information as we get them and finalize all the essential information.
We would like to say “Grazie mille” We are excited and thrilled as we officially begin our countdown to “Our One Day In Italy”.

why florence?
We wanted to go somewhere that many people had not been to. Initially, it was supposed to be Venice, but the more I pondered it, I realized that it might not be ideal for a few reasons with everyone. Don’t get me wrong, Venice is one of the most unique and beautiful cities I’ve ever visited. If you can, I highly recommend going there at least once in your life. No other place like Venice in the world. But I realize Venice has its drawbacks; for one, it closes early in the evening. I know the people we will invite, and I want them to maximize their trip. In that case, I want them to be free to walk around late into the evening with open bars and restaurants if they choose to. Florence is a great city to walk around, even at midnight. Another reason is that Florence has some of the most incredible art from DaVinci, Michelangelo, and Caravaggio. The town is historical, and the city center is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The food is fantastic, and a lot to choose from, especially their desserts. Also, Florence is more centrally located. Easier to go anywhere from there. The most important reason, at least for me, is that Yingying has never been there, and I want her to see and experience Florence for all of its beauty and charm. Now, we will get to share it with everyone else as well.
